Lopez ECHS Band Selected as Band of the Year

The Texas Bandmasters Association has awarded the 2018 Exemplary High School Band Award to the Lopez Early College High School Band. This is the first time a BISD band program has received such a prestigious honor. The award is presented to a band program and director that have proven to be a consistent exemplary program in Texas for an extended period of time. The Lopez ECHS Band, under the leadership of Director George Trevino, continues to be recognized as one of the premier high school band programs in the state of Texas. Congratulations!
